Instructions for equipment and technical details
1Encoder
Broadcasts require an encoder connected to a local network, preferably with external access or with working RTSP or RTMP links. Encoders we use:
Or you can choose another one of your choice, but it is advisable to choose something from the range of this company, so as not to deal with the interface and settings every time.
Some encoder models have the ability to record to an external storage medium
This opportunity must be used. In case of any failures, problems with the Internet, etc., we will have a clean recording of the broadcast, which we can upload to our archive section.
2Microphone
A full set is required for high-quality sound transmission during the broadcast:
Headset for the head
Belt transmitter
Base
What we use:

We have not tested other options, but we think you can find a more budget-friendly alternative.
3Internet
For stable transmission of video signal and sound, the Internet speed should be at least 20 Mbit/s.
Do site tracing vimeo.com (sometimes it is possible to trace to alternative addresses: 94.45.144.125 or 92.60.190.52)
Tracking shows how quickly information passes through servers on the Internet when you open a site in a browser. Tracing can sometimes help determine why a site is slow to open.
- To trace, open a command line terminal
If you are using Windows, select Run from the Start menu, type cmd in the text box, and press Enter. - In the terminal, type the command according to your OS and press “Enter”
- Windowstracert vimeo.com
or tracert 94.45.144.125
or tracert 92.60.190.52 - Mac OStraceroute vimeo.com
or traceroute 94.45.144.125
or traceroute 92.60.190.52 - Linuxmtr vimeo.com
or mtr 94.45.144.125
or mtr 92.60.190.52
- Windowstracert vimeo.com
An example of the trace result:
Server addresses are listed in the right column. On the left – the time of passing information through them. If there is an asterisk (*) or a question mark (?) in front of the server address instead of the time, it means that information is transmitted through this server with difficulty.
4Ports
Check that you have the necessary ports open for the encoder: 554 and 1395.
You can check the availability of ports on the website 2ip.ua
5IP address
You must have a permanent external IP address to broadcast. You can check whether your IP address is correct on the website 2ip.ua
6Technical support and feedback
